How do I make a simple snapdragon centerpiece?
- Start by stripping each stem of any foliage besides the flower or leaves you’d like to highlight that will sit below the waterline. Cut all your flowers to a similar stem height. (shorten the stems as you placing your flowers in the vase).
- Insert your longest flowers, snapdragons first keeping them in the middle of your arrangement. These are the flowers you want to be the tallest to stand out.
- Next, add you golden solidago. Cut the stems about 2-3 inches shorter than the snapdragons. Work in a circle turning the vase, making sure to cover every angle.
- Then, add your myrtle greens.
- Final step cut the white spider anastasia stems, so the blooms are closer to the opening of the vase and place them around the outer of the vase. Turn the vase while placing them, making sure to cover every angle and filling empty gaps.
