We have always been big fans of small weddings and Ashley and Josh’s state park affair did not disappoint. It was an intimate Southern wedding for the couple, who met on Match.com in 2018. The couple each have a four-year-old son, so it was important to include the two of them throughout the wedding day. The new family said their “I Do’s” under the Hall of Oaks at Fountainebleau State Park for the ultimate romantic feel.
All of the florals were DIY’d by the bride the night before the wedding, utilizing Blooms by the Box to create rose, eucalyptus, and blue thistle arrangements. “I highly recommend creating your own flowers,” Ashley shared. “It adds extra personal meaning to the entire day.”
The reception was at a 1920’s New Orleans styled home where the couple was sure to include family members that couldn’t travel due to COVID in the details. They used Ashley’s parents’ toasting glasses from their wedding, along with silver and dishes from her mother and grandmother.
