Between loads of lush garlands and eucalyptus wrapped everything, what’s not to love about a greenery wedding? We’ve been seeing greenery at so many weddings this past year, and we don’t see the trend going anywhere anytime soon. Brides are constantly coming up with unique and innovative ways to incorporate cascading leaves and big branches into their special day. Not only are there numerous types of greens that you can use for your wedding, but there are also endless ways you can use them. Here are some of our favorite ways to use greens at a greenery wedding!
Greenery Wedding
Greenery Bouquet
There is something so refreshing about an all greenery bouquet! You can opt for the dusty, loose leaves of Silver Dollar Eucalyptus or something vibrant and tall like Sword Fern. Don’t be afraid to mix and match your greens for a truly lush bouquet!
Greenery Arch
Arches have become a wedding staple, creating a picture-perfect frame for the couple standing under it. While there are many ways to decorate an arch, hanging greenery is probably our favorite! You can use a premade garland to easily drape over the frame of your arch, or individually wrap stems of cascading greens like Ivy.
Greenery Table Runner
Probably the greatest creation to come from the greenery trend are garland table runners! These fabulous centerpieces make quite the statement whether they’re placed atop bare farm tables or crisp linens. Decorate your garlands with fresh blooms like Roses or Baby’s Breath for a gorgeous runner!
Greenery Napkin Accent
Swap a fancy napkin ring for a small sprig of greenery! Greens with almond shaped leaves like Coffee Foliage and Olive Branch look very romantic loosely placed on tables!
Greenery Boutonniere
A greenery boutonniere looks great on any groom or groomsmen, especially when the stem is wrapped with rustic wire or twine! Italian Ruscus is a classic choice for boutonnieres because of it’s small leaves.
Greenery Rings
We’ve been seeing these hanging hoops more and more at weddings and love the way they look like a hanging centerpiece! This look can easily be recreated by wrapping stems of Seeded Eucalyptus or Podocarpus around a metal or wire ring. For a fuller ring, you can use a pre-made wreath in the green of your choice!
How much would you recommend ordering of the greenery if using as a table runner?
Hi Shonte! The amount of greenery needed does depend how long of a table runner are you looking to make. For a thin garland or table runner, you can use about 3 stems thickness and any length that you would need. We do sell pre-made garlands which can be found here. These garlands come in a variety of lengths, You can even order custom lengths in a variety of greenery type. I hope this helps!
