Common Names: Peruvian Lily, Lily of the Incas, Alstro

Make a dramatic statement in your DIY floral arrangements with our red alstroemeria flowers. The alstroemeria has long been a symbol of friendship, wealth and these trumpet-shaped flowers are customer favorites because of their long-lasting blooms, bright pops of color. The “Peruvian lily,” or the “lily of the Incas” — as the alstroemeria is sometimes called — originates in high altitudes of the Andes Mountains in South America and has been long-prized for its brightly varying colors.

Each stem is full of multiple blooms and will add volume and fullness to your floral arrangements. Our red alstroemeria flowers have richly colored blooms — the inner petals have a spray of darker “whiskers” that provide an added depth and interest to each specimen. Our red alstroemeria cut flowers can be paired with other flowers, or are lovely enough to steal the show as the focus of your arrangements. Bring out the green of the alstroemeria’s unique upside-down green leaves and stems with complimentary flowers or greenery such as amaranthus, green mums and calla lilies. If you want to achieve a contrasting color for a highly dramatic arrangement, pick white, yellow or orange flowers. The possibilities and options are endless with Blooms by the Box — and you won’t break the bank with our budget-friendly options!
