How to Make a Simple Pink Centerpiece
Learn to make a fun and flirty pink centerpiece with #pinkflowers! In this video, we show you step by step how to create a beautiful centerpiece featuring pink stock, pink hypericum, pink alstroemeria and dusty pink carnations. We chose to use a whimsical tree fern greenery to pair with this arrangement.
How many flowers do I need to make this pink centerpiece?
- 8 stems of Dusty Pink Carnations
- 4 stems of Pink Alstroemeria
- 4 stems of Pink Stock
- 5 stems of Pink Hypericum
- 4 stems of Tree Fern
What floral supplies do I need to make this centerpiece?
- A block of floral foam to keep the flowers standing straight
- A floral scissor to cut the flower and greenery stems.
How do I make a designer dish centerpiece?
- Soak floral foam until saturated. Cut floral foam to fit inside the desired vase.
- Start with the greenery and create a base.
- Then add your carnations, we added 5 first and saved the last 3 for filling in gaps at the end.
- Next add your alstroemeria, adding 1 stem to each corner of the vase.
- Stock is next adding those stems closer to the middle of the arrangement.
- Add the hypericum next. using it to fill in where there are empty spaces.
- Lastly, fill in with the last 3 stems of carnations to ensure there are no gaps in your arrangement.
- Be sure to turn the vase as you arrange to make sure it is even and filled out thoroughly.
